Hire Resolve's Client in the Technology and IT space is looking for a Technical Content Writer to join their team in Cape Town.
The Technical Content Writer will report directly to the Development Manager. They will be working closely with the Product Owner to ensure Product Documentation and the Company Wiki is maintained and updated.
They will need to update the Skills Facilitator with regards to product documentation in order for them to create and maintain internal training material.
Core Responsibilities:
- Updating the Company Wiki (wordpress)
- Updating of product documentation, release notes and user manuals
- Updating of FAQ’s and troubleshooting guides
- Updating technical user guides
- Work with subject matter experts to obtain accurate information
- Proofreading various documentation and technical material
- Collaborate with Development, Training and Solution teams
Essential Requirements
- Proficient in English verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional knowledge of correct grammar and spelling
- Experience in copywriting and proofreading
- High degree of computer literacy
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
- Competent in information retrieval, analysis, and collation
- WordPress exposure
Beneficial skills
- Basic understanding of networking and IT infrastructure
- Ability to multitask
- Basic HTML knowledge
- Grav exposure would be beneficial
